2011年11月，由北京故宮博物院、中國古陶瓷學會、福建省文物局、德化縣人民政府共同主辦的“2011中國瓷都?德化窯學術(shù)研討會”在瓷都德化舉辦，近百位國內(nèi)外博物館館長、從事陶瓷文化研究的專家學者齊聚瓷都德化，以“的故鄉(xiāng)、瓷藝術(shù)的搖籃”為主題，共同研討深厚的德化窯陶瓷文化。
研討會共提交專題論文39篇，其中不乏外國專家的作品。與會的專家學者以翔實的圖文史料為佐證，從學術(shù)專業(yè)的角度對德化窯在國內(nèi)外陶瓷文化領(lǐng)域的歷史地位和影響做了全面深刻的闡述，是一筆難得的、豐碩的學術(shù)成果。
近期，《外國人眼中的“”》欄目將再次回顧刊載該研討會的相關(guān)論文，并對其中的論文進行翻譯，為廣大德化陶瓷文化研究愛好者提供學習、交流、參考。
The Baur Foundation’s collection of Dehua porcelains（二）

Besides the imperial pieces made in the Jingdezhen kilns, the beautiful "blanc de Chine" porcelain from Dehua,with its milky-white, almost glass-like paste, and glaze varying from ivory through cold white to a slight bluish tint, is represented by eight pieces.
除了景德鎮(zhèn)窯生產(chǎn)的宮廷用瓷外，產(chǎn)自德化的“”瓷以其幾乎呈玻璃相的奶油白色澤，以及從生冷白到淺藍過度的象牙白釉色，在八件展品中得到了很好的表現(xiàn)。分別介紹如下：
Two circular covered boxes with ribbed sides,dating of the 16th or 17th century,are decorated with a design of a flowering tree-peony or a lotus plants and waves in moulded relief(fig.1,2).They are covered with an ivory glaze.The flat base is unglazed and the inside bears three or four spur marks. One of the boxes has formerly contained seal vermilion paste.
圖1、圖2：一對16或17世紀圓形直道紋蓋盒，牡丹或蓮花裝飾，帶水紋浮雕。表面有一層象牙色釉，平底不上釉，內(nèi)有三個或四個粗支印。其中有一個盒子還留有以前的米紅色印泥。
Of slender baluster form with a tapering neck and a cupped mouth,a bottle(17th or early 18th century)has the neck encircled by a high relief chi dragon with bifid tail and holding a leafy branch in its mouth(fig.3).The glaze has a warm cream tint. The foot is neat and shallow, and the recessed base is also glazed.

圖3：17世紀或18世紀初的細長瓶，縮頸，圓杯形口。頸部纏繞有一只高浮雕螭龍，螭龍叉尾、口含枝葉。釉呈溫暖奶油色，足淺平，內(nèi)底施釉。
A small vase of elongated ovoid shape with broad neck(17th or early 18th century)has a pair of lion masks set on the sides in applied relief,with incised details(fig.4). The glazed base is recessed. The vase is covered with a cream-white glaze. The shape and decoration derive from a bronze prototype.

圖4：17世紀或18世紀初，細卵圓形小瓶寬頸，頸部兩側(cè)有一對稱的浮雕獅子。釉底凹進，瓶表面施奶白釉。器型和裝飾取自青銅器的形狀。
